Saudi Aramco has awarded a contract worth AED 8.2 billion ($2.23 billion) to the Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) for two packages in the Zulf Offshore Field, according to a statement submitted to Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) by National Marine Dredging Company PJCS (NMDC) which wholly owns NPCC. The project is expected to be executed over three-years.

In November last year, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts totaling $1.46 billion for the Dalma Gas Development Project to NPCC and a joint venture (JV) between Técnicas Reunidas and Target Engineering. The NPCC award is valued at $514 million and covers the EPC of four offshore wellhead towers, pipelines and umbilicals in Hair Dalma, Satah, and Bu Haseer fields.

NMDC took over NPCC last year and has operations in the Arabian Gulf, South Asia and South-East Asia. It plans to expand to Africa and the Caspian region.

The company owns a fleet of 23 offshore vessels with modern equipment to support its shallow and deep water operations in the oil and gas sector.
