NPCC secures $98.8 million deal for wind farm project

UAE-based National Petroleum Construction Company, a subsidiary of National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC), has secured a deal worth 363 million dirhams ($98.8 million) for a wind farm project.

Yunneng Wind Power Co. Ltd awarded the contract for the installation of monopiles for wind turbine structures in the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm (OWF).

The wind farm project is being developed in Taiwan. Estimated to be worth more than $3 billion, the project is said to be one of the largest in the country.

In January, Saudi Aramco awarded a contract worth AED 8.2 billion ($2.23 billion) to NPCC for two packages in the Zulf Offshore Field. The project is expected to be executed over three-years.

In November last year, ADNOC awarded two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts totaling $1.46 billion for the Dalma Gas Development Project to NPCC and a joint venture (JV) between Técnicas Reunidas and Target Engineering. The NPCC award is valued at $514 million and covers the EPC of four offshore wellhead towers, pipelines and umbilicals in Hair Dalma, Satah, and Bu Haseer fields.
